The 2026 Rocket League Worlds field is the most genuinely open it has been in the title’s competitive history. Last cycle’s clear favorites (G2 NA, Vitality EU, Karmine Corp) have all undergone meaningful roster changes, and the regional balance has shifted with new contenders from MENA and SAM finally credibly threatening top-4 finishes.

The interesting structural piece is the format change. Psyonix’s removal of the match-cap rule (restoring best-of-7 series for elimination matches) means the bracket favors teams that can execute over longer series rather than just having a hot game. That should advantage the deeper-rotation organizations against the high-variance new contenders. FragneticLab’s pre-bracket read: G2 and Vitality remain favorites, but the dark-horse outcome is meaningfully more credible this cycle than 2024 or 2025.
