Z890 Motherboard Round-Up — The Three Boards Worth Buying

Gigabyte Z890 UD AC WiFi ($229) is the budget pick that genuinely doesn’t compromise on the platform’s core capabilities.

The other 11 boards we tested have at least one disqualifying issue — VRM thermal throttling under sustained AVX-512 load, BIOS instability with high-RAM-frequency profiles, or feature-set decisions that don’t match the price tier.
